All the changes that we've made to our packing compared to the first trip.
Lisa's tops
- Removed 2 of the t-shirts as I have less need to cover my shoulders in North America.
- Substituted 2 of the tank tops for different colours; one black and one patterned have been added instead.
- Changed the light jumper to a light cardigan so that I can wear it over dresses more easily.
- Added a jumper due to the colder temperatures in Canada.
Lisa's bottom layers
- Removed one of the longer pairs of shorts and replaced it with a pair of jeans due to the colder climate in Canada at the minute.
- Added in an extra dress that was bought during the first trip.
Lisa's outerwear
Replaced the waterproof coat with a more heavy duty wind and waterproof thermal coat.
Alistair's tops
- An extra t-shirt
- An extra jumper so there are now 2 mid-layers
Alistair's bottom layers
- Swapped out the longer shorts for another pair
Alistair's outerwear
- Replaced the waterproof coat with a more heavy duty wind and waterproof thermal coat.
Our swimwear
- Removed board shorts for Lisa as they were not worn at all in the first trip.
Our accessories
No change to these.
Our shoes
- Replaced Lisa's trainers with walking boots.
Our toiletries
- We have only added in conditioner and mouthwash for this trip as we ended up buying these on the first trip.
Electronics
No change to these.
First aid kit
No change to this.
Miscellaneous/Everything else
- Removed the mosquito net as no need for this in North America.
- We are only taking one guidebook this time.
- We are able to remove some of the adapter plugs as we only need North American ones.
- We had to give up our multi tool at an airport on the first trip for accidentally bringing to in hand luggage so we will replace this as we go if we need it.
